Have recieved so many great ATC's in the swap organised by Kate North.

Star fish ring cushion

Ring Cushions

Beaded seahorse and starfish. Beaded then attached to japanese silver metallic fabric which has been overlayed with crystal organza.

Step granddaughters dress ...work in progress

Made of very pale mushroom pink satin, with grey crystal organza overlay which has yet to be scattered with small beads.

An update.

With the arrival of cooler weather and some rain the fires are no longer a threat although much work still has to be done with mopping and cleaning up. Thank God that the bad weather predicted this week wasn't as bad as predicted and that rain and much cooler weather eased that threat. Those affected still have a long road ahead.

Have been busy finishing the ring cushions for my step daughters weddings in March. As they are being married on the beach on the Gold Coast the ring cushions carry that theme. The dress for the now 9 week old daughter of one of the brides is nearing compeletion testing my skills,as it has been many years since I made clothes for little ones or anyone as far as that goes. Now the hand sewing and beading begin .

Many ATC's in the International Birthday Swap have arrived , all are beautiful and make a great addittion to my now growing collection. It will be wonderful to finally unpack all our belongings from those containers in which hopefully there wasn's a meltdown over those very hot days we experienced in February!!
