Postcards

Early spring postcard sent to me from my friend Joy.

Tree postcard made for postcard swap with tree theme.

Work in progress

Nativity quilt also started April , 2008 and is still a work in progress. Hand quilted with no particular design in mind.

Birthday ATC's

Birthday ATC's made for International swap
organised by Kate North in the UK.

Memory Quilt

My mother has been diagnosed with dementia as a progression of the Parkinson's disease which she has had for many years. In this quilt I have used photos of my siblings and myself as babies where possible accompanying it with a later photo . Photos from mum and dad's wedding along with photos of the major wedding anniverseries were also used. The choice of pastel colours are more peaceful to those with levels of confusion than the more bolder colours.

Christmas Quilt

Started this quilt April, 2008 whilst recovering from a hysterectomy and finally finished it last week. Some very rough free motion machine quilting but as it was my first attempt learnt a lot from the experience.
